Review: Ultimate Special Forces

Ultimate Special Forces by Hugh McManners provides a wealth of information about special forces groups from around the world. From the Navy SEALS to the British SAS to GSG-9, and many more, this book presents information on the groups, the conflicts they were in, and the equipment and vehicles they use very well. It doesn't get overly technical, and the information is fascinating. It is on the whole easy to read and a treat for military and gun buffs out there. My favorite part was the second section of the book, where the various special forces groups and some of the conflicts they were in are laid out. It took a long time to read, but I'm glad that I did read it.

RATING: 8/10
