Noah - First Trailer
The first trailer for the long anticipated Noah film, directed, co-written, and co-produced by Darren Aronofsky and starring Russel Crowe and Emma Watson, was released sometime last week. My research indicates that after some testing with Christian and Jewish audiences with an earlier script (Noah was apparently going to be some kind of environmentalist), they scrapped that idea and went down the route that resulted in this fantastically epic trailer. Despite some concerns, I feel that we've got a good one coming our way. With a crew of A-list actors and a director to match (Aronofsky directed Oscar-winning film Black Swan, and was nominated for best director), it's almost guaranteed that this film will be a commercial and critical success. Will it stay in line with the the Bible? We'll just have to wait and see, but the trailer seems to make that look like a probable outcome. Noah will be released in theaters on March 28th, 2014. I eagerly look forward to it.
